海の日

今日は何の日

７月１７日は海の日。

明治９年７月２０日、明治天皇が東北地方の巡幸を終えて船で横浜に帰着したことから、昭和１６年に「海の記念日」と制定。平成８年に「海の日」として国民の祝日になり、平成１５年から７月の第３月曜日に。
